Specifications to the building

  • Foundations: Foundation will be constructed using quarried laterite stone for houses with 150mm concrete floor with well compacted backfill.
  • Superstructure: The super structure will be made of black stone all column foundation, ground beam, lintel beam reinforce concrete. Floor slab made with laterite stones. The ground walls shall be constructed with 150mm hollow cement blocks, 150mm solid blocks for the foundation.
  • Roof: The roof structure shall be made with timber and roof finishing shall be made of decra imitaon sheets or a similar product.
  • Ceiling: The ceiling shall be made with gypsum.
  • Waterproofing: Water proofing materials with reasonable guarantee period will be used in washroom floors and on exposed terraces.
  • Floor: The Floor will be tiled with porcelain tiles and the walls shall be ceramic tiles in toilet and kitchen walls.
  • Doors: External doors shall be made of pre‐painted metal and internal flush doors fitted with hard wood frames. Toilet doors shall be made of aluminum fitted with designed obscure glass.
  • Windows: All windows shall be made of PVC with 5 mm thick glasses fitted with mosquito neting and burglar proof metal grills.
  • Electricity: Shall be installed with all necessary light fitings. Provision for Air conditioner.
  • Plumbing/Washroom Facilities: Master bedroom toilet shall consist of WC, wash hand basin, bath tub and guest bathroom to consist of WC, wash hand basin and a shower.
  • Paint: Vinyl paint on walls and ceilings.
  • Kitchen: Imported modular kitchen cabinets and drawers with granite counter top.
  • Drive Way: The drive way shall be finished with 50mm thick concrete paving blocks.
  • Garden: Concrete tiles around the house shall be 300mm x 300mm x 25mm for walk way and garden will be finished with bahama grass and flowers.
    PVC water tank 2000 liters for water storage, provision for working closet, washing area.
  • Other optional feature: Solar water heating system, inverter system for power backup.
